Race nights

Under the lights at Newcastle Paceway.

We race on harness meetings at Newcastle Paceway during the warmer months, and pop up at tracks, shows and events around the Hunter all year.

Our home track

Newcastle Paceway, Jackson Street, Broadmeadow NSW 2292. Home of the Newcastle Harness Racing Club, and of our club since the start.

Mini trots races run in between the senior harness races, so you get a full night of racing.

Race nights change with the harness calendar. For the next dates, email [email protected] or send us a message on the contact page.

What to expect

1

Arrive early

The ponies arrive and get ready well before the first race. It is a great time to look around.

2

Watch the racing

Mini trots races run between the senior races. Find a spot on the fence near the finish.

3

Meet the ponies

Bring the kids to pat the ponies and say hi to the drivers. Just ask a parent or helper first.
